Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

•

Provide care for 4-6 patients at a time

•

Perform standard nursing skills such as IV insertions, urinary catheter insertion/maintenance, and central line maintenance

•

Administer medications accurately and safely

•

Maintain continuous bladder irrigation and perform NGT insertion/maintenance

•

Communicate effectively with all members of the care team

•

Document all care activities in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

•

Current RN license

•

1+ year of acute med/surg experience within the last year

•

Ability to manage care for 4-6 patients simultaneously
