Key Responsibilities of the ED RN

•

Provide care to patients with common diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure

•

Utilize specialty equipment such as Rapid Infuser and Arctic Sun

•

Administer required drips and medications including pressors, vasodilators, anti-arrhythmics, sedation, and more

•

Capability to assume charge nurse role as needed

•

Float to different units as required

Requirements of the ED RN

•

2+ years of experience in ED with some PEDS experience

•

Travel experience required

•

Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications

•

Active NY RN License as verified by NURSYS

•

EPIC EMR experience required
