Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown
•
Manage a patient load consisting of 3:1 ratio for stepdown or 6:1 for med-surg
•
Titrate drips as per physician orders, including heparin, insulin, anti-hypertensives, and more
•
Utilize EPIC for documentation and care management
•
Collaborate with Clinical Associates to maintain optimal patient care
•
Work with CPAP, BiPAP, and other respiratory therapy equipment in stepdown settings
Requirements of the RN - Stepdown
•
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA approved)
•
Experience with EPIC charting system
•
Ability to manage and titrate various drips efficiently
