Job Opportunity – Pediatric ICU RN – New Jersey

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend coverage required. Patient ratios of 1:2+. Holiday requirement includes working or providing on-call coverage for 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's). May float to Pediatrics and NICU as needed within skillset.

Requirements
•
Active New Jersey or Compact RN license required at time of submission
•
Minimum 2+ years of PICU critical care experience with at least 1 year of cardiac experience (must be documented on skills checklist)
•
Current BLS and PALS certifications required; NRP preferred
•
Epic charting experience required
•
Previous travel nursing experience required (facility does not accept first-time travelers)
•
At least one supervisory reference required at time of submission
•
Competency in IV therapy, hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, cardiac monitoring, pediatric dosage calculations, and critical care procedures
•
Experience with congenital heart disease patients including ASD, VSD, AV Canal Defect, Tetralogy of Fallot, and post-operative cardiac surgical patients
