Job Opportunity – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) RN – Idaho

Schedule: Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 12-week assignment. Rotating weekends with four weekend shifts per month. Patient ratios vary by acuity: 1-2:1 for PICU patients, 3:1 for Intermediate Care, and 4:1 for step-down care.

Requirements:
•
Active Idaho RN license or compact state license with ability to practice in Idaho
•
Minimum 1+ years of recent, direct bedside experience in pediatric critical care
•
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
•
Demonstrated experience with pediatric mechanical ventilation, high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC), nasal CPAP, and tracheostomy management
•
Proficiency managing arterial lines, central lines, and titrating vasoactive, paralytic, and sedative infusions
•
Competency in weight-based pharmacology (Broselow method/PALS dosing) and age-specific assessments across all pediatric populations
•
Experience assisting with intubation, central line management, hemodynamic monitoring, and moderate sedation procedures
•
Precepting experience with novice and new graduate nurses preferred
