Key Responsibilities of the RN - PACU- Post Anesthetic Care

•

Provide high-level care in the PACU, recovering patients from a variety of surgical procedures

•

Monitor vital signs and manage pain relief for patients in the immediate post-operative period

•

Utilize EPIC EMR to document patient information accurately and efficiently

•

Communicate effectively with surgical teams to ensure continuity of care

•

Assist with airway management using CPap, BiPap, and vents

Requirements of the RN - PACU- Post Anesthetic Care

•

Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA required)

•

Minimum of 1 year of PACU experience
