# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) – Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, 13-week contract assignment. Four weekend shifts per month required (Friday and Saturday are considered weekend nights). 1:5 patient ratio with dedicated PCT support.

Supportive leadership team with Clinical Nurse Coordinators rounding each shift to provide education and assistance
Requirements:
•
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state eligibility
•
Minimum 2+ years of progressive care or critical care nursing experience
•
Cardiology experience required, including open hearts, heart failure, post-catheterization lab patients, and valve patients
•
LVAD experience preferred
•
Meditech EMR proficiency preferred
•
BLS certification required; ACLS strongly preferred

This is a contract nursing position offering the opportunity to work with a highly experienced team in a state-of-the-art cardiac facility. Call requirements may include being placed on call by house supervisor with availability until 4:00 AM, or floating within the system as needed.
