Job Opportunity – Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) RN – Montana

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with weekend rotation equally distributed among staff; 48-hour work weeks approved; must work at least one winter holiday (scheduled in pairs: Thanksgiving + Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas + Christmas Eve, or New Year's + New Year's Eve)
Highlights:
•
LDRP role in a 22-bed Critical Access Hospital providing full-spectrum obstetric care including triage, labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn care
•
Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:6 depending on acuity and census; daily census averages 2 patients across 3 rooms
•
Epic charting system in use; minimal float required (primarily to assist with skills such as IV starts when no OB patients present)
•
Reduced orientation period of 24 hours (versus standard 40 hours); seasoned travelers only
•
Wireless fetal monitoring and JADA device for postpartum hemorrhage management available on unit
•
One pre-approved time off request allowed; scheduling requests must be submitted upfront
Requirements:
•
Active Compact RN license required at time of submission
•
Minimum 3 years of LDRP nursing experience required
•
Previous travel nursing experience required
•
Epic charting system experience required
•
Current certifications: BLS, NRP, CLC (preferred), STABLE (preferred)
•
Demonstrated skills in circulating for C-sections, Labor & Delivery, sterile vaginal exams, and triage of obstetrical patients
•
Ability to care for neonates, infants, and adult patient populations
•
Must commit to working at least 3 of 5 major holidays during winter assignment
•
2 professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required
