Title: RN – Endoscopy
Duration: 19 weeks
Location: 196 North St, Geneva, NY 14456
Schedule: Day Shift 4×9-hour shifts — 36 hrs/week
Schedule: 4×9-hour shifts — 36 hrs/week
Shift Start: Based on assigned role:
6:30 AM: Pre-Op ENDO
7:00 AM: Circulator/Tech ENDO
7:30 AM: Post-Op ENDO
Call: Required
Call Response Time: 1 hour
Call Frequency: 6–8 call days/month
Call Rotation: Includes 2 full weekends of call + 1 weekday/week
Must include 1 Friday, 1 Saturday & 1 Sunday
Regular Weekends/Holidays: None, except when assigned to call
Patient Population: Adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients with medical conditions
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patient/family needs and develop individualized care plans
Provide direct nursing care and evaluate patient progress
Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary team
Administer medications and nursing interventions
Provide patient/family education for post-discharge self-care and lifestyle changes
Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition
Promote patient safety, comfort, rights, and emotional support
Delegate appropriately within scope of practice
Follow infection prevention and safety standards
Participate in quality improvement and professional development
Document care and patient/family education
Work Environment: Healing Environment focused on patient/family-centered care
Exposure: Potential occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens, body fluids, and tissues
Skills: Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Expertise Rating Move NYS RN Licensure Required 1 Years One (1) Year Experience serving in Endo Environment as a Registered Nurse Required 1 Years BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS Required
