Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

•

Titration of Vesicant Meds

•

Familiarity with Pressors, Sedation, and Paralytics

•

Experience with Vents and Trachs

•

Telemetry interpretation and understanding of Hemodynamics

•

Set up and interpretation of PA Catheter

•

Transvenous pacing and Cardioversion

•

Assist with TEE and chest tube insertions and maintenance

Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

•

ICU experience required

•

Proficiency in Titration of Vesicant Meds

•

Familiarity with Pressors, Sedation, and Paralytics

•

Experience with Vents and Understanding of Hemodynamics

•

Telemetry interpretation and PA Catheter set up

•

CCRN recommended
