Key Responsibilities of the RN - Emergency Department

•

Proficiency in triage & ESI

•

Emergency assessment

•

Medication administration

•

Management of critical patients

•

Perform triage, medication administration, moderate sedation

•

IV insertion, EKG, cardiac monitoring, trauma, and emergency stabilization

Requirements of the RN - Emergency Department

•

Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications

•

Experience in a similar emergency department setting
