Job Opportunity – NICU Registered Nurse (Level III/IV) – Texas
Start Date: November 2, 2026
Location: Lubbock, Texas

Schedule: Self-scheduling with block schedule format; 6 weekend shifts per 6-week scheduling period; 12-hour shifts. No on-call required. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

Complex case mix including prematurity, respiratory distress, surgical subspecialties (excluding cardiac), HIE, and neonatal abstinence syndrome

Requirements
•
Active RN license (Compact license required at time of submission)
•
Minimum 2+ years of NICU experience required
•
Level III NICU experience strongly preferred (facility operates as Level IV unit)
•
Current BLS and NRP certifications required
•
Experience with patient ratios of 2-4 patients
•
Epic charting system experience required
•
Proficiency in advanced NICU skills including high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide administration, UAC/UVC management, therapeutic hypothermia, ventilator management, and Level III/IV NICU care
•
Willingness to float between pediatric units (Pediatrics, PICU, Pediatric ED) as needed
•
Two professional references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
