About the Position

Location: Oakland, MD Type: Travel Schedule: 3x12 days Time: 13 Weeks Job Title: Med/Surg RN - Travel Location: Oakland, MD Pay: $2,463.48 weekly Shifts: 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM Seven Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Med/Surg Registered Nurse with a strong background in medical-surgical environments for a travel assignment in Oakland, MD. The unit deals with a variety of patients, excluding laboring mothers and those requiring titrating cardiac or insulin drips, providing a diverse and engaging working atmosphere. Work alongside RN and LPN professionals in a unit that currently accommodates up to 20 patients due to staffing, ensuring a manageable nurse-to-patient ratio of no more than five. Key Responsibilities of the Med/Surg RN - Travel

•

Deliver nursing care to patients with diagnoses such as CP, CHF, Pneumonia, and numerous post-operative conditions

•

Collaborate with the ICU to manage and document tele monitor readings

•

Participate in floating rotations as needed, supporting other units with tasks and care

•

Work every other weekend, particularly night shifts involving Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Requirements of the Med/Surg RN - Travel

•

Current BLS and NIHSS certifications

•

Strong Med/Surg nursing experience

•

EPIC and prior travel experience required
