Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department
•
Provide direct patient care in a Level 3 Trauma Center
•
Manage a patient ratio of 1:5 in a high-volume ED setting
•
Administer medications and treatments as ordered, utilizing EPIC for documentation
•
Perform EKGs and initiate IVs, ensuring readiness for emergency procedures
•
Care for a wide range of patients, from neonates to geriatrics, with complex diagnoses
Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department
•
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
•
Active NY license or proof of application
•
Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in an Emergency Room setting
•
Recent EPIC experience within the last 2 years
•
Prior travel nursing experience is preferred
