Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med/Surg - Travel

•

Administer medications and manage IV therapies

•

Provide safe ambulation and toileting assistance

•

Conduct high-quality charting and documentation

•

Perform central line dressing changes

•

Manage wound care and wet to dry dressing changes

•

Administer blood products and manage comfort and pain levels

•

Conduct neuro checks and stroke-rehabilitation care

•

Monitor vital signs and blood sugar levels

•

Manage telemetry for patient monitoring

Requirements of the RN - Med/Surg - Travel

•

Minimum 1-year current experience in Med/Surg or Rehabilitation as an RN

•

BLS certification

•

Experience in rehab or orthopedic nursing preferred

•

Experience in neuro or trauma nursing desirable
