Schedule: 13-week assignment, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, rotating weekends, 36 guaranteed hours per week, on-call requirements
Highlights:

Advanced cardiovascular procedures including coronary artery bypass, surgical valve replacements, adult heart transplant, TAVR, pediatric hearts, thoracic/lung procedures, and ventricular assist devices
•
Specialized unit within a well-established medical center with over 50 years of patient-focused care
•
3-4 patient assignments using Meditech documentation system
•
Opportunity to work with complex cardiac cases including heart transplants and pediatric cardiovascular patients
•
Facility-provided scrubs and professional practice environment
•
Floating as needed to support facility requirements
Requirements:
•
Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
•
Minimum 2 years of hospital and specialty experience in cardiovascular operating room settings
•
Heart transplant experience required
•
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (facility requirements)
•
Preferred: Heart experience, pediatric heart experience, intra-aortic balloon pump experience, adult heart transplant, cell saver, peripheral vascular, and Meditech experience
