Shifts: 12 hr nights, weekends as scheduled, 48 hr guarantee

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown - Travel
•
Provide nursing care in an Intermediate Care Unit with a focus on patients requiring stepdown care.
•
Administer and titrate drips, including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Labetolol, Nitro, and Heparin.
•
Interpret telemetry strips accurately and effectively.
•
Float to other units as required, such as Telemetry or Med-Surg.
•
Collaborate with the healthcare team, including hospitalists and intensivists available 24/7.
•
Manage patients with common diagnoses such as chest pain, CHF, arrhythmias, and more.
Requirements of the RN - Stepdown - Travel
•
Valid RN license for submission with willingness to wait for processing.
•
Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
•
Experience in an acute care setting, preferably in stepdown or intermediate care.
