As an RN in the Progressive Care Unit, you will utilize your expertise in cardiac care to deliver high-quality nursing services. Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU - Travel

•

Manage patient care for individuals with chest pain and cardiac diagnoses

•

Perform IV starts and manage various tubes and drains

•

Conduct oral and wound care

•

Administer medication and monitor patient responses

•

Work closely with a supportive team including PCAs, CNAs, and hospitalists

Requirements of the RN - PCU - Travel

•

Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar unit

•

Current BLS and ACLS certifications

•

NIHSS and CPI certifications (provided during orientation)

•

Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Cerner

•

Ability to float within the scope of practice to other units
