Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

•

Provide professional nursing care to patients in the Medical Surgical unit

•

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

•

Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team

•

Educate and support patients and their families regarding medical procedures and care plans

•

Maintain accurate and complete patient records

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

•

Minimum one-year hospital nursing experience

•

MN RN license

•

BLS, ACLS via AHA required

•

AHA PALS and TNCC preferred

•

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN)
