This dynamic role involves working in a busy emergency department, providing expert care to patients of all ages with a range of diagnoses including high acuity cases like stroke, STEMI, and traumas. Key Responsibilities of the ER RN

•

Deliver emergency care to patients of all ages

•

Manage high acuity cases including stroke, STEMI, and trauma patients

•

Provide care for high level psych patients

•

Utilize ER technology including Cerner EMR, Plum 360 IV pumps, and Phillips monitors

Requirements of the ER RN

•

BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications

•

1 year of ER experience

•

Skills in trach care, vent care, ICU drip maintenance, chest tubes, and other high-level skills
