Job Title: RN - Emergency
Location: Greensboro, NC | Acute Care
Schedule / Job Type: Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Expected 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days per 6-week cycle | Holiday availability required | No call
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting across night shift hours. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for ED patients in accordance with facility protocols. Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient information. Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled. Float to alternate campus locations within the health system as needed. Complete a compliance EKG exam (up to 2 attempts allowed) as part of onboarding requirements.
Required Qualifications:
•
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
•
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
•
ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
•
EPIC EMR experience required
•
Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
•
No open background cases permitted
•
Current driver's license required to verify address
•
Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates
•
Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with the application; no post-submission RTO accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills:
•
CPI, PALS, and/or TNCC certifications preferred
•
Previous Charge RN experience
•
Level 2 Trauma experience
