Job Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Room
Location: Flagstaff, AZ | Acute Care
Schedule / Job Type: Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00 | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment within a Level I Trauma, Teaching facility
Maintain patient-to-nurse ratios of typically 4:1, adjusted based on acuity
Adhere to facility quality and patient safety standards, including medication administration via BCMAR
Rotate every other weekend as required by the unit
Document and chart accurately using Cerner electronic health records
Be available to work 2 of the facility's recognized holidays during the assignment
Required Qualifications
Active, unrestricted Arizona RN License or a valid, participating Compact RN License — Required
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications — Required (BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be obtained through the American Heart Association)
Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience (candidates with fewer years may be considered)
Availability to work every other weekend
No on-call or floating requirements for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification — Preferred
Prior experience with Cerner electronic health records
Experience in a Level I Trauma or Teaching hospital setting
