About the Position

This role focuses on post-surgical care, specializing in urology and bariatric surgery. The successful candidate will work within the fast-paced environment of our 28-bed post-operative unit. Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

•

Provide direct patient care to postoperative patients in a 28-bed unit

•

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

•

Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans

•

Monitor patient's condition and report changes to the physician

•

Document patient care services and activities accurately

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

•

AHA BLS certification required at time of submission

•

KS or Multistate nursing license with no exceptions

•

Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical experience required

•

ADN or BSN education
