This position involves working in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, where highly specialized care is provided to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents. Key Responsibilities of the RN - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care

•

Perform IV starts and catheterizations

•

Hold for lumbar punctures and change central line dressings

•

Monitor hemodynamic status and manage ventilators

•

Provide trach care and manage tube feeding and placement

•

Conduct intracranial pressure monitoring

Requirements of the RN - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care

•

Valid RN license

•

PALS certification

•

Minimum one year of PICU experience
