Job Opportunity – Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse – North Carolina
Start Date: October 26, 2026
Location: Wilmington, North Carolina

Schedule: 3x12 night shifts, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (36 hours per week). Weekend coverage required - 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period. Floating required as needed. Contracts available through February 27, 2027.
Highlights:
•
Comprehensive cardiac patient population including atrial fibrillation, CHF, ACS, CAD, cardiomyopathy, and post-cardiac surgical patients
•
Experience with advanced cardiac procedures including CABG, TAVR, Mitral Clip, Watchman procedure, post-catheterization care, and pacemaker placements
•
Patient ratio of 1:6 with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and physical therapy
•
Epic charting system with 24-hour orientation provided
•
Exposure to specialized equipment including arterial lines, femoral sheaths, TR bands, chest tubes, and epicardial pacing wires
•
43-bed unit with full complement of cardiac monitoring and diagnostic capabilities
Requirements:
•
Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state license accepted)
•
BLS and ACLS certification required
•
NIHSS certification preferred
•
Minimum 2 years of cardiac nursing experience required
•
Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, or Step-down experience preferred
•
First-time travelers accepted with appropriate cardiac experience
•
Must be willing to work holidays and participate in storm team/hurricane team assignments during catastrophic events
•
EKG testing proficiency required prior to start date
•
Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
