Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a general emergency department setting serving both adult and pediatric populations.
Perform cardiac monitoring and emergency response, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
Initiate and manage IV therapy, including starting IVs.
Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 4:1 across day, night, and weekend shifts.
Float within scope to meet facility needs, including to an affiliate hospital location as needed.
Document patient care accurately using Epic (Excellian) electronic health records.
Required Qualifications
Active RN license (Minnesota license in hand preferred; candidates may apply for MN licensure upon offer acceptance).
Minimum 1 year of experience in Emergency Room nursing.
Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, PALS, and TNCC.
Experience with Epic/Excellian charting system required.
Willingness to work every other weekend.
Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible.
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency department setting.
Familiarity with both adult and pediatric emergency care protocols.
Experience working in a teaching hospital environment.
