RN – Med-Surg Unit (MSU) – Nights/Day (Adult & Pediatric) - Relocation Candidates Welcome
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Medical-Surgical Unit (MSU) caring for both adult/geriatric and pediatric patients. This 20-bed unit provides comprehensive inpatient care with excellent nurse-to-patient staffing ratios.
The ideal candidate must have strong medical-surgical nursing experience, pediatric nursing experience, and the ability to confidently care for patients across both age groups.
Shift Information for Night:
12-Hour Night shift. Typical schedule is 36 hours one week, 48 hours the next, plus up to 1 on-call shift/week. Must be flexible and open to days, weekends, and holidays as needed. Maximum of two (2) Shift Call offs. RTOs for Thanksgiving and Christmas will not be acceptable.

Responsibilities
•
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients.
•
Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and evaluate treatment outcomes.
•
Recognize changes in patient conditions and respond promptly to medical emergencies.
•
Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
•
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using the RPMS electronic medical record system.
•
Provide patient and family education and support.
•
Assist with flu immunization clinics as needed.
•
Attend required staff meetings and participate in unit activities.
•
Float to other departments when qualified and as required, including patient-care assignments or task-oriented duties.
•
Maintain flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
