Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 10:30–23:00
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department setting
Maintain flexibility to float within skillset as needed
Adapt to variable patient ratios, which may extend to 1:5 or higher during surge periods
Adhere to holiday scheduling requirements, including availability to work either Christmas Eve/Day or New Year's Eve/Day
Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management
Be prepared to receive patients requiring SANE examination; prior SANE experience is a plus but not required
Required Qualifications
Valid New York State RN License (candidates who have applied and are pending licensure may be considered)
Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room experience
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
TNCC or ATCN – must be in hand
PALS certification required
NIH Stroke Scale certification required
Proficiency in Epic EMR required
Local candidates (within 75 miles) are welcome to apply
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel nursing experience preferred
SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) experience or comfort level with SANE patient care
Experience managing high patient volumes and variable staffing ratios
