Key Responsibilities of the IR RN

•

Perform a variety of specialized procedures such as angioplasty, chemoembolization, and gastrostomy tube placement

•

Administer and monitor procedural sedation

•

Maintain infection prevention and management of dysrhythmias

•

Conduct interventional radiology, genitourinary, and vascular studies

Requirements of the IR RN

•

Current NY RN license (No pending license)

•

1+ years of recent experience in Interventional Radiology

•

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
