Key Responsibilities of the RN - CVICU - Travel

•

Provide direct primary recovery for fresh cardiac surgery patients

•

Manage patient ratios of 1:1 immediately post-surgical, 1:2 POD 1-3

•

Utilize Meditech Expanse documentation system effectively

•

Participate in a new cardiac surgery program launch

•

Float to other units as required, maintaining designated ratios

Requirements of the RN - CVICU - Travel

•

1-2 years of experience with fresh cardiac surgery patients

•

ACLS certification

•

Experience with balloon pump, impella, hemosphere, or acumen
