Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated and experienced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse to join their team in Peoria, IL. This is a travel assignment that involves working in an acute care setting, providing high-level care to newborns in a Level 3 NICU.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - NICU- Neonatal Intensive Care - Travel
•
Provide care to neonates with complex medical needs, including those with congenital defects and requiring cardiac repair.
•
Titrate medications as per orders, including Fentanyl, Morphine, and Precedex.
•
Participate in a team-based approach for caregiving, including interaction with neonatologists, resident/fellow coverage, and APNs.
•
Utilize and troubleshoot RT equipment such as ventilators, CPAP, and high flow systems.
•
Engage in self-scheduling and adhere to weekend and holiday coverage requirements as needed.
Requirements of the RN - NICU- Neonatal Intensive Care - Travel
•
Active IL license or application in process
•
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
•
Preferred experience in Level 3/4 NICU settings and micro preemie care
