Key Responsibilities of the RN - NICU
•
Manage neonates within a Level 3 NICU, addressing complex diagnostics such as abdominal defects and pulmonary conditions
•
Administer and titrate medications as per orders, including Fentanyl, Morphine, and Precedex
•
Collaborate with a team of Neonatologists, APNs, and residents to ensure exceptional patient care
•
Utilize advanced respiratory equipment and provide ventilatory support
•
Participate in self-scheduling and block scheduling to meet unit needs
•
Potentially float to related departments such as PICU, Peds, or Nursery as required
Requirements of the RN - NICU
•
Active IL license or confirmation of the application process initiation
•
Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
•
Preferred experience in Level 3/4 ICU and micro preemie care
