About the Position

Location: Louisville, KY Type: Travel Schedule: 3x12 Nights Time: 13 Weeks Job Title: RN - PCU - Travel Location: Louisville, KY Pay: $2,667.24 weekly Shifts: 7p-7:30a, every other weekend Seven Healthcare are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) role based in Louisville, KY. This is a travel assignment involving working in a mixed-acuity environment, dealing with diverse patient diagnoses such as stroke, neuro, and post-surgical cases. Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU - Travel

•

Perform comprehensive neuro assessments and EKG rhythm analysis

•

Engage in phlebotomy and manage NG/Dobhoff tube placements

•

Administer heparin gtt and Argatroban; manage non-titratable cardiac drips

•

Ensure the proper use of stable high flow and Bipap

•

Collaborate with support staff, including CNAs and vascular access teams

Requirements of the RN - PCU - Travel

•

Active RN license

•

NIHSS and BLS certifications

•

Minimum 2 years of experience in stepdown or similar high-acuity care settings

•

Proficiency with Cerner EMR and medical equipment such as Plum ICU Medical IV pumps
