Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts | Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM–3:15 PM | On-call rotation required (3–4 nights/week, 3:00 PM–7:00 AM, and every other weekend) | Holiday rotation required
Key Responsibilities
Provide skilled perioperative nursing care within a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) environment
Perform circulator duties and administer conscious sedation as required
Float to other surgical services as needed, including General, Orthopedic, GYN, Urology, Robotics, Plastics, and ENT
Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR; administer and manage medications via Omnicell
Pass EKG competency testing prior to start date
Participate in on-call coverage per departmental staffing needs, including nights and weekends
Required Qualifications
Active RN licensure — TN state or compact license must be in hand at time of submission
ACLS certification required
BLS certification required
Demonstrated CVOR experience, including circulating and conscious sedation skills
All certifications and licensure must not expire within 45 days of the start date
Must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for standard traveler placement; candidates within 75 miles may be considered at a reduced rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel nursing experience preferred
Cerner EMR experience preferred
NIHSS certification (may be obtained after accepting the assignment)
Familiarity with Omnicell medication management systems
