Contract | Full-Time | Days | Onsite | 5x8-hour shifts with start times at 6:45 AM, 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 2:45 PM | Weekends as needed | On-call as needed
Key Responsibilities
•
Provide direct patient care in an Operating Room setting within a teaching hospital and Level 3 trauma center
•
Perform scrub and/or circulating duties as required within scope of practice
•
Utilize Epic (Excellian) for clinical documentation and charting
•
Float within the hospital or to an affiliate facility as needed to meet staffing demands
•
Participate in on-call coverage on an as-needed basis
•
Adhere to facility compliance requirements including pre-start modules and onboarding processes
Required Qualifications
•
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota or ability to obtain prior to start date
•
Minimum 1 year of strong Operating Room experience
•
Orthopedic (Ortho) experience required
•
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
•
Fingerprinting/LiveScan background check required per Minnesota state law — must be completed as early as possible, as results may take 1 day to 3–4 weeks
•
Locals are welcome — no radius restriction applies to this position
Preferred Experience / Skills
•
Prior experience with Epic/Excellian charting system
•
Experience in a teaching hospital or trauma center environment
•
Ability to accommodate a block schedule and flexibility with varying shift start times
