Job Title: RN - OR
Location: Saint Paul, MN | Acute Care
Schedule / Job Type:
Contract | Full-Time | Days | 5x8-hour shifts | Start times vary: 6:45 AM, 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 2:45 PM | Weekends as needed | On-call as needed
Key Responsibilities:
Provide perioperative nursing care in an operating room environment with a primary focus on orthopedic surgical cases and general surgery as a secondary specialty.
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care throughout pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases.
Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs, including potential float to an affiliate facility.
Participate in on-call duties as needed.
Document patient care accurately using Epic (Excellian) electronic health record system.
Required Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota or willingness to obtain prior to start date.
Minimum 1 year of strong OR nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted.
Orthopedic surgical experience required.
BLS certification required.
Epic (Excellian) charting experience required.

Preferred Experience / Skills:
Experience in general surgery as a secondary OR specialty.
Familiarity with a teaching hospital or trauma facility environment.
Ability to adapt to a variety of shift start times and scheduling needs.
