Key Responsibilities of the RN - Telemetry

•

Reading and interpreting cardiac strips

•

Caring for post-heart catheterization patients, TR Bands, CHF, COPD, post-pacemaker, and arrhythmia patients

•

Titrating Heparin drips, with occasional titration of Lasix or Bumex

•

Performing EKGs and monitoring telemetry patients

•

Conducting admissions and discharges with precision and care

Requirements of the RN - Telemetry

•

Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA)

•

Proficient in reading cardiac strips

•

Experience with telemetry and cardiac patient care
