Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED

•

Perform independent IV skills, EKG skills, and assessments

•

Provide care in accordance with previous ER experience

•

Mix and manage medications, including Tpa and KCentra

•

Conduct procedures such as IVs, EKGs, and medication mixing

•

Ensure accurate scanning of medications for every patient

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED

•

ACLS, PALS, BLS certifications

•

Proven previous ER experience

•

Proficiency in independent IV, EKG, and assessment skills
