Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

•

Provide acute care and treatment to patients in the Emergency Department

•

Administer medications and IVs as per physician orders

•

Respond to emergency situations with critical thinking and efficiency

•

Utilize EMR system Meditech for documentation

•

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including techs and paramedics, to deliver patient-centered care

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

•

Valid RN license

•

BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications

•

Experience in emergency nursing
