This role involves working within a dynamic surgical team, providing critical perioperative care. Key Responsibilities of the RN - OR
•
Assist in a diverse range of surgeries including orthopedic, GYN, vascular, and thoracic.
•
Implement phlebotomy and IV placement as required proficiencies in the OR.
•
Maintain adherence to strict safety protocols and universal procedures.
•
Effectively respond to emergency codes and ensure a safe surgical environment.
•
Skillfully handle equipment within specialized procedures, such as the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System.
Requirements of the RN - OR
•
Minimum of 3 years of relevant RN experience
•
Current BLS and CNOR certifications
•
EPIC charting system proficiency preferred
•
Mandatory competency with phlebotomy and IV placements
•
New York state RN license in hand
