Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Tennessee
Start Date: November 16, 2026
Location: Jackson, Tennessee
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Minimum of two weekends per month as needed. Holiday requirement includes working one of the following: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or Christmas Day. No call required, overtime available.
Highlights:

High-volume emergency department with 60 beds and approximately 250 visits per day
•
Nurse-to-patient ratio of 2-4 depending on area assignment
•
Epic EMR system with required competency validation
•
Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and social services
•
Full-spectrum emergency care for all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
•
36-hour orientation program with one opportunity for pre-approved time off
Requirements:
•
Active Tennessee or Compact RN license required at time of submission
•
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
•
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS (must be in hand at submission)
•
Preferred certifications: TNCC or PHTLS
•
Epic EMR experience within the past 18 months required and must be documented on profile
•
Must pass Epic competency exam on-site (one attempt allowed)
•
Ultrasound IV experience preferred but not required
•
COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
•
Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
•
