Candidates must be skilled in various surgical procedures, including ortho-total joint and trauma, neuro, GYN/urology, vascular, and thoracic cases.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - OR (Operating Room)
•
Assist in a wide range of surgical procedures including bariatric, ENT, general, vascular, thoracic, and more.
•
Ensure compliance with universal protocols and safety standards.
•
Perform duties related to phlebotomy and IV placement.
•
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
•
Participate in code responses and emergency protocols.
Requirements of the RN - OR (Operating Room)
•
3 years of experience required in an operating room setting.
•
BLS and CNOR certifications.
•
Mandatory competency in phlebotomy and IV placement.
•
EPIC charting experience preferred.
•
NYS license required in hand to submit.
•
Travel experience required; locals within 75 miles not accepted.
