Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:30) | Up to 26 weeks | Every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a stepdown/med-surg unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio.
Float to other med-surg areas, including additional units, to care for med-surg patients as needed.
Perform IV starts as a routine component of patient care.
Accurately document patient information using EPIC.
Operate unit equipment including Welch Allyn vital sign towers and Sigma IV pumps.
Required Qualifications
Valid Michigan RN License
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
NIH Stroke Scale certification
Minimum 2 years of PCU/Stepdown experience
Must be available and present for the first two weeks of the assignment; no block scheduling available.
Locals are welcome — no radius restrictions apply.
Preferred Experience / Skills
Oncology (ONC) experience
Chemotherapy administration experience
