Key Responsibilities
•
Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care / Step-Down unit with an expected nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4
•
Manage patients requiring cardiac drips and post cath lab procedural care
•
Care for patients with tracheostomy and ventilator needs
•
Float between units as needed within the contracted facility
•
Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
•
Complete required facility modules prior to start and during orientation
Required Qualifications
•
Active RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
•
Minimum 1 year of experience in IMC, PCU, or Step-Down nursing
•
Experience with cardiac drips, post cath lab care, and trach/vent patients
•
Must be available for weekend shifts — expected 6 weekend shifts per schedule period
•
All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal; post-offer RTO may not be considered
•
Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
•
Prior experience in a Level II Trauma Center or short-term acute care hospital setting
•
Familiarity with floating between units in a high-acuity environment
•
Strong adaptability and flexibility within a contracted schedule
