Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical / Telemetry – Days – 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, 3x12 – Relocation Candidates Welcome Location: Zanesville, OH Duration: 13 Weeks Specialty: Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Shift Time: Days – 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, 3x12 Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week Start: 11/16/2026 We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join a hospital in Zanesville, OH. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care on a fast-paced Medical-Surgical / Telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and managing a diverse patient population with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. If you are a dedicated RN with a passion for comprehensive bedside care and strong telemetry skills, we encourage you to apply. 📋 Key Responsibilities • Monitor and interpret continuous cardiac telemetry rhythms and notify the care team of significant changes • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for assigned Medical-Surgical / Telemetry patients • Administer medications and IV therapies safely, following established protocols and five rights of medication administration • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, case managers, and therapists to coordinate patient care plans • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, procedures, and discharge planning • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record • Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions or escalate as needed ✅ Requirements • Active OH or Compact RN license • BLS, ACLS certifications • 3+ years of Medical-Surgical / Telemetry experience • Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring Pay Pay range: $1,980 to $2,067 per week. Travel Med/Surg / Tele RN package: up to $2,067/week (36 hours) = $31/hour taxable + up to $951/week in travel reimbursements if eligible under IRS tax-home and expense rules. Local package: $55/hour fully taxable ($1,980/week for 36 hours). Overtime paid in accordance with applicable wage-and-hour laws and the assignment agreement. Actual compensation varies based on hours worked, assignment terms and travel reimbursement eligibility.
