Key Responsibilities
•
Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting within a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma acute care hospital
•
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic electronic health records
•
Float to like units as needed to support facility staffing requirements
•
Participate in rotating shift coverage, including weekends and a minimum of 3 of the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
•
Maintain active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
•
Active Alaska RN license in hand at time of submission (pending licenses accepted for submittal, but license must be in hand for offer)
•
Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience; first-time travelers are not eligible for this position
•
Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
•
Willingness to commit to weekend shifts and holiday coverage as outlined above
•
All requested time off must be submitted upfront at the time of candidacy; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
•
Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local applicants are not accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
•
Prior experience charting in Epic
•
Experience working in a Magnet-designated or Level II Trauma facility
•
Familiarity with travel nursing compliance processes and pre-start module completion
