Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical – Days – 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, 3x12 – Relocation Candidates Welcome Location: Lawton, OK Duration: 13 Weeks Specialty: Medical-Surgical Shift Time: Days – 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, 3x12 Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week Start: 11/5/2026 We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join a hospital in Lawton, OK and provide high-quality, patient-centered care across a diverse medical-surgical population. In this role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans for patients with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact while advancing your clinical expertise in a dynamic inpatient setting. 📋 Key Responsibilities • Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment throughout each shift • Administer medications and treatments accurately in accordance with physician orders and established protocols • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, discharge instructions, and self-care strategies • Communicate significant changes in patient status to physicians and appropriate care team members in a timely manner • Perform wound care, IV line management, catheter care, and other clinical procedures as indicated • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) in compliance with facility standards ✅ Requirements • Active OK or Compact RN license • BLS/BCLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications • 0.5+ years of Medical-Surgical experience • ACLS certification preferred or required based on facility • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient communication skills Pay Pay range: $1,728 to $1,810 per week. Travel Med/Surg RN package: up to $1,810/week (36 hours) = $29/hour taxable + up to $766/week in travel reimbursements if eligible under IRS tax-home and expense rules. Local package: $48/hour fully taxable ($1,728/week for 36 hours). Overtime paid in accordance with applicable wage-and-hour laws and the assignment agreement. Actual compensation varies based on hours worked, assignment terms and travel reimbursement eligibility.
