Contract | Night Shift (4x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
•
Provide direct patient care in a telemetry setting within a short-term acute care, Level II Trauma Center environment
•
Care for post-surgical neurology patients and patients with varied neurology diagnoses; comfort with the NIH Stroke Scale is expected
•
Maintain expected patient ratios of 1:5
•
Float between units as needed within the contracted facility
•
Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
•
Support holiday staffing needs, with an expectation to work 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Required Qualifications
•
Active RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
•
Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
•
Proficiency with Epic charting system
•
Neurology RN experience with comfort utilizing the NIH Stroke Scale
•
Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays as outlined above
•
All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submission; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
•
Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
•
Experience caring for post-surgical neurology patients across a range of neurological diagnoses
•
Prior experience working in a teaching hospital or Level II Trauma Center environment
•
Flexibility to support 48-hour workweeks when operationally needed
