Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical / Telemetry – Days – 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, 3x12 – Relocation Candidates Welcome Location: Kealakekua, HI Duration: 13 Weeks Specialty: Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Shift Time: Days – 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, 3x12 Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week Start: 11/23/2026 We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join a community hospital in Kealakekua, HI. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care across a diverse medical-surgical and telemetry population, utilizing your clinical expertise to monitor cardiac rhythms and manage complex patient needs. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic inpatient setting. 📋 Key Responsibilities • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients • Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry rhythms, identifying and responding to arrhythmias or changes in patient status • Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including physicians, case managers, and ancillary staff to coordinate patient care plans • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, discharge instructions, and self-care management • Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record • Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate emergency protocols as needed ✅ Requirements • Active HI or Compact RN license • ACLS, BLS/BCLS certifications • 2+ years of Medical-Surgical / Telemetry experience • Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring Pay Pay range: $2,340 to $2,436 per week. Travel Med/Surg / Tele RN package: up to $2,436/week (36 hours) = $40/hour taxable + up to $996/week in travel reimbursements if eligible under IRS tax-home and expense rules. Local package: $65/hour fully taxable ($2,340/week for 36 hours). Overtime paid in accordance with applicable wage-and-hour laws and the assignment agreement. Actual compensation varies based on hours worked, assignment terms and travel reimbursement eligibility.
