Travel Nurse RN - OB/GYN in Fort Stockton, TX
Travel Registered Nurse - Obstetrics
We are in search of two Registered Nurses for our OB Department. The shift timing will be from 7 pm to 7 am, for a period of 13 weeks, starting from January 15, 2024. The ratio for this position will be 1 OB RN per shift. We require a minimum of 1-year experience. The schedule will follow a 4 days on and 3 days off pattern for the first week, followed by 3 days on and 4 days off for the second week. The following certifications are necessary: CPR, NRP, and TNCC. The clinician may be required to be on-call at times. If there are no babies to attend to, the nurse may help the med-surg department. We are open to accommodating a block schedule. The required skills for this position include staying with the mother from the beginning until she leaves the hospital with the baby. While not mandatory, it would be preferred if the nurse has special skills related to this field. As a small rural facility, we have about 5-8 babies per month, and the nurse is responsible for providing all patient care. The scrub color can be any color. Charting is evident.
The following certifications are necessary: CPR, NRP, and TNCC.
